Customers give their designs, drawings or specifications for their requirements of components, sub-assemblies and assemblies.

>> Order Handling

  • Orders for each product or service is separately handled and documented.
  • Raw Materials, Tools, Processes and Sub-Contracting are written down.
  • Deliveries are adhered to.
  • A customer is focused during the entire process of an order execution.
  • Documents maintained for a longer period in view of effective and better support and service to a customer.

>> Documented Quality Systems

  • We manufacture valves, assemblies, sub-assemblies and components as per customer’s specifications, drawing, designs and samples.
  • We maintain all necessary records for all the items we design, manufacture, test, supply and service.
  • Few of our customers audit our works and activities at regular intervals as a routine practice.
  • All our major customers are either certified ISO 9000 companies or they have initiated the process of obtaining this coveted certification.
  • We have been molding our activities and systems to help us initiate and obtain  ISO 9000-2000 certification. Our target to achieve this by end 2005.

>> Inspection

  • Necessary measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Surface Plates etc are available.
  • To facilitate the checking of threads, bores and other dimensions, availability of thread, ring and plug gauges are ensured at a regular pace.
  • All inspection aids are updated and calibrated regularly.

>> Maintenance

  • All machine tools, Electric fittings, buildings and such other parts or portions of these installations are being repaired and maintained by skilled and experts in the line on a yearly rate contract basis.
  • There is a routine check or preventive maintenance of each of the installation in each quarter of the year.

>> Dealing a Complain from a Customer

  • Any complain from a customer is being dealt with by positive attitude with a firm belief “Customers is always right”.
  • A complain is analyzed as to what nature it is, viz. Commercial, technical, behavioral or any other.
  • All efforts are put to find out the route cause of the error for which a complain is received and a customer is unhappy about.
  • Activities are vouched, investigated and redesigned, if necessary. All measures are taken to prevent complains of similar nature.
  • A product or service and a customer is always in main focus. His opinion/suggestion is sought and always welcome to strengthen our line of activities.
  • Activities redesigned such that minimum or no complains arise.

>> Documentation

Records for each product or component are documented in every respect. Records maintained for the entire life of product or services or as may be required by a customer for a better and effective after sales service.

>> Vendors

  • A complete vendor base is functioning for all the manufacturing activities. Vendors are equipped to take up challenges or meet the emergences. 
  • Vendors are trained to meet the specific requirements of a customer.

>> Measuring Instruments

Necessary measuring instruments are available to produce and measure the produced quality. All measuring instruments are regularly calibrated once in a year in routine.

>> Test Equipments

Necessary test equipments are available for pressure test by hydraulic as well air. Test set-ups, fixtures and supports are manufactured to meet specific requirements.

>> Calibration of Measuring Aids

  • Measuring instruments are calibrated in routine once in a year.
  • Threads and other types of gauges are checked/calibrated twice in a year.

>> Checking of Raw Materials

  • All ordered raw materials, on their arrival, are chemically checked prior to processing them.
  • On acceptance, each rod of a raw material is identified by a color code.
  • Raw materials are stored in their respective locations. A chart for identification of raw materials is kept nearby the stored raw materials.

>> Checking During Production

  • A manufacturing process of a component is being decided according to requirements as being laid down by a customer or by his specifications.
  • Machine tools, on their set up, produce the part or a dimension as may be required, however that is verified and checked as necessarily laid down.
  • A component, if rejected during process, is identified by a RED COLOUR, kept and stored separate.
  • A person, responsible for quality, does routine checks.

>> Inspection of Finish Materials

Every component or an assembly is finally checked on it’s completion according to the quality plan of a customer or as agreed upon. Detailed dimensions and specifications of the drawings are verified in totality before delivering to a customer.

>> Raw Materials Identification

  • Each piece of raw material is given a particular color code for its identification.
  • A chart of color code for raw materials is kept nearly the stored raw materials.

>> Finish Goods Identification

Finish goods are packed and stored at their respective locations. Identified by a label which provide enough informations about the contents.

>> Identification for Tools & Fixtures

Tools and fixtures are widely used in all manufacturing processes. All Tools and Fixtures are given identification code and kept in a location. A list is prepared and kept to locate, identify and use it.

>> Identification for Non Confirmative Goods

  • A component or an assembly is kept and stored separate on its rejection during its manufacturing process. A mark of RED COLOUR is applied on it and a note is affixed outside the container.
  • Rejected materials are stored separately. A RED COLOUR label is tagged for the identification.
  • Very rapidly the rejected materials are disposed off. Customers are consulted, if so required.
